A new function of the Cloud Q is that it can be changed to a horizontal position outside of the car. With a longer leg-rest and a lie-flat position, the child can lie comfortably and in an ergonomically correct position. The angle can be adjusted easily with one hand without having to take the child out of the seat, and the handle remains in the carrying position for easier mobility. In combination with the CYBEX strollers, the Cloud Q can also be used as a visually harmonious travel system. Thanks to the flat-lying angle, the infant car seat transforms into a practical and clever carry cot for the first months. The sleeping baby can rest with optimal protection and in an ergonomically correct position. The Cloud Q can also be converted into a travel system using prams and buggies from other brands.

The Cloud Q is adapted to meet the needs of even the most delicate newborns and premature babies. The transportation of premature and very small babies, whose neck muscles and reflexes are not yet fully developed, is one of the biggest challenges faced by our safety engineers. The tipping forward of the head can lead to breathing problems during sleep and needs to be avoided at all costs. Along with German doctors and midwives, and taking into account the findings of many tests, a function was developed that enables a near flat lying angle between head, neck and chest. The risk of suffocation is thereby significantly reduced. This is achieved through a removable seat insert, which also offers more space and comfort for bigger children once removed.

The tried-and-tested Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P. System) has been further improved and on the Cloud Q it can be telescopically extended on the door side. The very first impact of an accident is absorbed by the extended side protector facing the door, while the flexible material structure of the infant car seat absorbs the force of the impact and channels it away from the baby. The Cloud Q is easy and intuitive to use.

In combination with the telescopic Linear Side-impact Protection System the 11-position height-adjustable headrest adds to the excellent side-impact protection of the Cloud Q infant car seat. With the new 11-position height-adjustable headrest with integrated harness guide, the length of the harness changes automatically when the headrest is adjusted. This prevents any need for the difficult threading in and out of the harness and makes it almost impossible to misuse. As a result, the infant car seat grows with the child.

The integrated, extra-large sun canopy fulfils the stringent, Australian UPF50+ sun protection standard. It also protects the baby against stress and sensory overload. When not being used, the canopy elegantly disappears behind a colour-coordinated visor.

The soft harness pads perfectly round off the comfort features of the Cloud Q. Both safety and comfort have played an important role in the development of this pioneering product, while your child's well-being still is the top priority for CYBEX.
